Incident #021/2021 - River Douglas, Rufford

#CALLOUT

On Bank holiday Monday 5th April 2021 at 12.45 pm the rescue Team were called by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a 73 year old female walker who had fallen and had injured her shoulder along the banks of the river Douglas just outside Rufford. Once on scene, the rescue Team assisted the ambulance crew and evacuated the patient on our mountain rescue stretcher to a land ambulance where she was transferred back into the ambulance service hands. 

We wish our casualty all the very best and a speedy recovery.
