Why Support Us...

Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team is entirely funded by charitable contributions, without these we won't survive!  Your donation or assistance will go towards providing a 365-day Mountain Search and Rescue service in, saving lives in wild and remote places.
 
How:  There are a number of ways of helping us.

• Donations. You can simply donate online through the secure Charities Aid Foundation. Follow the link then search for Bowland Pennine.

• Sponsorship.  If you are an individual or an organisation we welcome sponsorship for a variety of projects and pieces of equipment.  To find out more information please email our Fundraising Officer or see our shopping list.

• Helping with a Flag Day.  Flag Days are events where we spend time in a town centre talking to the public, showing them some of our equipment and giving people the opportunity to donate to us.  To come along and help fundraise for the team please click here to email your interest.  Or feel free to pop by to find out more about the team.  Future flag days are:   To be Confirmed

• Joining our supporters group gets you a copy of 'Bowline' our quarterly supporters magazine.  This will include articles about recent callouts, training events and other interesting items about the team.  To join the group by emailing our Fundraising Officer.

• Team Talks.  We are happy to provide talks to organised groups including schools, youth organisations, WI's, walking clubs etc.  A donation to the team would be very much appreciated .  If you would like to host a talk, please email our Secretary.

• Joining the team.  We have vacancies for operational and support members.  If you would like to join the team as a full callout member and participate in rescues please see the membership page. If you would like to assist with fundraising or feel you have a skill which would be useful to the team in a support role, please email the Team Leader
