On Friday evening 11th April 2025 at 19.20hrs, Lancashire Police contacted the rescue Team to search for a missing 31-year-old male who had been missing for almost 3 days in the Harrisend Fell area, just outside of Scorton.
17 Team members carried out various search activities over a 6 hour period into the night, this also involved the Police, the Police Drone and a crew from Lancashire Fire and Rescue.
Unfortunately, when we stood down the missing male was still outstanding.
*Post incident, sadly incident 20 involved a body recovery which has been confirmed as the missing male.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the family and friends in this sad outcome.
