Incident 052/2025
Friday 8th August at 4pm the rescue Team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 40-year-old male mountain biker who had fallen and had sustained a facial injury.
Initial reports suggested that the mountain biker was unable to move due to the nature of injuries, however as Team members and our vehicles were entering the forest, we were informed that he had managed to walk to his car which was located at Tosside.
The rescue Team then stood down responding at this point.
8 Team members and 2 vehicles deployed to this incident which collectively took 20 man hours.
