Incident 057/2025

At 02.00 hrs on Sunday morning of the 14th September 2025, the rescue Team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 23-year-old male with chest pain. The incident, on Grindleton fell was not accessible to ambulance staff so team members attended and made an assessment of the situation once on scene.

With the casualties signs and symptoms indicating some cardiac abnormalities and considering his medical history the casualty was extracted by using our Mountain Rescue Bell stretcher as a precaution to RV with a land ambulance and we handed over to the waiting Paramedics.

We only had 9 volunteers this morning, but we wish our casualty a speedy recovery.
