Incident 065/2025
Tuesday 28th October, at 08.30am the rescue Team were called by Lancashire Police to assist with distressed male who was unable to exit Warton Quarry.
The male, who was Hypothermic had been out over night and was requiring medical attention.
Police, Ambulance and Mountain Rescue Team members stretchered the male out of the area to an awaiting land ambulance on the road.
17 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team along with Police and ambulance were involved in this incident.
We wish the male a swift recovery and we hope he is out and about soon.
