The rescue Team were called at 06.30am on the 28th January to assist in a high risk search for a missing 13 year old female by the Lake District Search & Rescue Mountain Association.
The search, which was in the Dunnon & Furness operational area had began in the early hours with multiple rescue teams and search dogs.
Thankfully, in the early stages of our deployment, we received the good news that the teenager had been found safe and well. Our rescue Team then stood down and returned to our base.
14 volunteers, with others available later in the day from Bowland Pennine were involved in this callout to assist our neighbours.
