Wednesday 20th May at 11am we were requested to attend Williamson Park to recovery the body of Henry Shields, who was found deceased earlier in the day. (see Standby 003/2026).
The rescue Team attended and carried out this sad task, a job we unfortunately complete when the terrain or situation dictates.
Out heartfelt condolences go out to the family and friends of Henry.
15 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this task which took 3 hours to complete.
