Incident 038/2026

Sunday 6th September at 12:13hrs the rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a casualty who had fallen while out walking in the Gregson area.

The casualty, unable to walk was being attended by Paramedics who requested our services as the extrication was over rough ground, however, after a review it was decided that our rescue Team wasn’t needed so we were stood down responding.

11 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were responding to this incident and we wish the casualty a speedy and healthy recovery.
