Tuesday 27th October at 15.53hrs the rescue Team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 14-year-old male mountain biker who had fallen near the summit of Nicky Nook, near Scorton.
With reported injuries being trauma, the team attended and assisted Air Ambulance paramedics with casualty care and the transfer into the helicopter.
20 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this incident and we wish the young male all the very best and for a quick recovery.
