Saturday 2nd August 2025, whilst we were covering the Borrowdale fell race a runner had presented himself to the team who were at Sty Head with an injured Elbow, he had taken a fall descending the Corridor route.
On assessment, Team members secured the arm in a sling as it was potentially broken. The runner then decided to retire and make his way back to the race control.
We wish the injured runner a swift and healthy recovery.
