The rescue Team were request on New Year Eve to assist in an on going search for a vulnerable male who had been missing in the Blackpool area.
The rescue Team assembled in the area near junction 4 of the M55 motorway and searched along planned routes and areas with Mountain Rescue Search Dogs, Police and Team members for the vulnerable 60-year-old male, however, our efforts were not successful this time around and he remained outstanding when we stood down in the early early.
*Post incident – Our missing from home has since been located safe and well, he was located outside of the search area.
