Today, Tuesday 29th September continued the search in the Halton area for a vulnerable 61-year-old male.
Lancashire Constabulary requested ourselves to lead the search, which involved further MRSDE search dogs from across the country.
Although the area was searched in depth by many resources throughout the day, the missing person was not located so we all stood down.
28 members of Mountain Rescue and 6 search dog teams were involved today with the operation taking over 11 hours to complete.
*Post Incident – a few days days later we received the good news that the missing male had been located safe & well, outside of the search area in Cumbria.
