The rescue Team were requested by the Lake District Search & Mountain Rescue Association to assist with an on going search over the period 9th & 10th January 2026. The search, for a high risk missing person was in the support of Kendal Search & Rescue Team.
Although Bowland Pennine MRT provided mountain rescuers and search dogs, the missing person was still outstanding once we had completed our nominated search area.
