At 1.15pm on Wednesday 20th September 2023 the rescue Team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with 65 year-old-year male with a head injury caused by falling due to a possible stroke, he was conscious & breathing but had slurred speech
However, the rescue Team stood down on-scene when if was discovered that Casualty was walking off to the Land Ambulance and was safe.
11 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this incident and wish our casualty a speedy and healthy recovery.
