Incident 019/2026
Sunday evening, 10th May at 7.45pm the rescue Team were requested to assist Paramedics with a 15-year-old boy who had fallen from a rope swing in High Bullough wood in the Anglezarke area.
The young boy, with a suspected broken ankle was in good spirits when the rescue Team, along with Paramedics stretchered him through the woods back to the quarry car park where the land ambulance was situated.
19 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this rescue which took 3 hours to complete. We wish the young boy a speedy and healthy recovery.
