Incident 011/2023

The rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service at 02.50 hrs on Saturday 11th March 2023 to assist with an ambulance that was stuck near Bleasdale church which was on route to a 51-year-old male with chest pains at a local farm. The rescue team were requested to assist in reaching the patient as the ambulance was blocking the road.

Team members then walked to the farm and met the ambulance crew were the patient was, then transported him in a family car 4×4 to a rescue team vehicle which then transferred the patient the short journey to a 2nd ambulance.

This very early operation with volunteers of Bowland Pennine MRT involved 13 team members and lasted over 2 hours.
