Incident 048/2022

On Tuesday afternoon at 15.20hrs 27th September 2022, the rescue team were called by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a male who had fallen from his mountain bike and was in a deep ditch, the 33-year-old injuries were described as lower leg and he was unable to stand.

As the rescue team were arriving, we received the good news that our casualty with the assistance of the paramedics on scene was out of the and we could stand down.

14 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue had responded to this incident.
