Incident 007/2021

On Sunday 17th January 2021 mid-afternoon, whilst walking with her family a 71 Year Old Female, collapsed but was conscious and breathing. Air and land Ambulances were in attendance. Bowland Pennine MRT were requested to attend as back up if a stretcher was required. Fortunately, the lady was able to walk the short distance to the land ambulance were she was given more treatment, then transferred into Lancaster Royal Infirmary. Team stood down blues once it was determined she was being walked off safely.

We all hope that the lady makes a fast a swift recovery and is able to walk this lovely coastal path very soon, all the very best from Bowland Pennine MRT.

While this incident was concluding incident 008/2021 had commenced with an intoxicated male who had collapsed at Lancaster service station.
