Incident 038/2025

We were requested by the North West Ambulance Service on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at 12.15hrs (during incident 037) to attend to a 58-year-old male who had fallen and injured his leg.

Once team members arrived, we quickly made a medical assessment and determined the injuries included knee, lower leg and a wrist injury. Once Paramedics arrived, we managed to load the injured male into one of our Mountain Rescue 4x4s and drove him to where the ambulance was parked, we then transferred the casualty over to the Ambulance Service.

11 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this rescue which took just over 2 hours to complete.
