Incident 021/2026

Wednesday 20th May at 2pm, we were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to 20-year-old female who had fallen into a ditch and had a suspected broken ankle.

The rescue responded, but as we arrived the young female was already being attended to by members of Cuerden Valley Park Rangers and the Local Fire Service. We then stood down and returned back to base.

19 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team deployed to this incident but we stood down just after an hour.
