Incident 048/2025
Sunday 6th July 2025 at 3.05pm the rescue team were alerted by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a fallen female who had injured her arm.
The injured female was with her partner and were located near Great Hill, West Pennine Moors. Once Team members were on scene, we carried out a medical assessment and it appeared she had a potential broken arm.
The team then extricated the injured lady in one of our 4×4 Land rovers to a safe area where the couple had their car, they then went to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
We wish our casualty a speedy recovery.
10 volunteers from Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in this rescue.
