Monday 4th May we were requested by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with an incident in Preston that involved 2, 19-year-old males who had collided head on whilst on their motor cross bikes, both sustaining serious injuries.
A multi-agency response, with the Air Ambulance, Ambulance, Police and Mountain Rescue attended with evacuation being completed by air and land.
19 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team attended, we wish the injured persons a swift recovery and our best wishes.
