Incident 022/2025
On Saturday 19th April 2025, we were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a 14-year-old female who had fallen from height and had potential pelvic injuries.
12 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team responded to the incident which was in the wood area of Fairy Glen, just outside of Apply Bridge.
Upon arrival, along with Paramedics our casualty was assessed and then stretchered through the woods to the local Ambulance.
We were thankful that we were supported by Team members from Bolton Mountain Rescue in this incident which took 3 hours 45 minutes to complete.
We wish our young casualty a very speedy recovery and all the very best for the future.
