Incident 007/2024

The rescue Team were requested by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 15-year-old male who had taken a fall on his mountain bike on the Gisburn Forest trails.

Fortunately as we were responding, we had the message that the young male had managed to self-recover to Stephen Park where an Ambulance then managed the incident.

The incident happened at 12.20pm on Monday 26th February 2024, 12 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team had responded today.

Our best wishes go to the young biker and we hope he is back riding very soon.
