The first of two callouts for today was at Gisburn Forest for fallen mountain biker. A 55-year-old male had a suspected broken leg after falling on the red skills loop, however, the rescue Team was stood down while we were on route as he was able to make his way to the Hub car park where a North West Ambulance Service crew were able to treat and provide emergency care.
As always, we wish our casualty a very speedy recovery.
