Whilst the rescue Team were in Gisburn Forest carrying out exercise and training, team members came across an injured mountain biker in the forest.

With injuries being reported as shoulder, team members quickly made an assessment and kept the 40 year-old male warm by using one of our emergency blizzard blankets. Once the medical assessment had been made, it was recommended that the fallen mountain biker should seek further medical advice and assistance. He was then taken to hospital by family and friends who were with him.

As always, we wish our casualty a speedy recovery.
