On Wednesday 31st May, the rescue team were requested to attend and assist with a 15-year-old male who had been located unconscious by the river bank of the River Lune in Halton.
Team members arrived and assisted the Paramedics of the North West Ambulance Service with the extrication to safety and into the ambulance.
The rescue Team then stood down, we wish our 15-year-old male casualty a quick and speedy recovery.
19 volunteers of Bowland Pennine mountain rescue contributed to this rescue which took nearly 3 hours to complete.
