Incident 016/2022

We were requested by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with an incident at Heysham Head where a 29-year-old female who was out walking had fallen. She was falling in and out of consciousness and unable to mobilise.

Once the rescue Team were on scene, we assisted the Paramedics and used our bell mountain rescue stretcher to carry her off the remote area to the waiting land ambulance, where she was transferred for her onward journey into Lancaster Royal Infirmary.

This callout came during our Annual General Meeting and Business meeting which was on going in Garstang, we simply stopped the meetings to attend and assist the Ambulance Service and our 29-year-old casualty.
