Tuesday 28th April 2026 at 13.45hrs the team were requested to assist with a 71-year-old female who had collapsed in the popular walking area of Nicky Nook.
18 volunteers of Bowland Pennine responded and once we were on scene it was determined the female had low blood pressure and was unable to stand.
Along with with our partners, Ambulance Paramedics we stretchered the female off the hill to an awaiting land ambulance where further medical checks were carried out.
The team then stood down, this incident took 2 hours minutes to complete and we wish the lady a speedy recovery.
