Incident 012/2024

On Saturday 30th March, the rescue Team were contacted by the North West Ambulance Service to assist with a 57-year-old female who had fallen over in a field with a twisted ankle.

Paramedics were already on scene and the rescue team were required to assist with the carry off using our mountain rescue Bell stretcher the short distance to the Ambulance.

We wish our casualty a speedy recovery and best wishes.

13 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team were involved in today’s incident which took almost 4 hours to complete.
