Incident 004/2024

The rescue Team were called by the North West Ambulance Service at 4pm on Saturday 10th February 2024. A full team response was activated to assist with a 50-year-old male who had fallen and had potentially broken his leg.

As team members were arriving at the RV at Stocks reservoir, we were stood down as the casualty had been appraised and treated by the Air Ambulance who transported him into hospital.

As always, we wish our casualty a speedy recovery and wish him all the very best and hopefully he will be back out and out very soon.

11 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team with 3 team vehicles deployed to this incident, which lasted over 2 hours.
