Incident 032/2022

Bowland Pennine MRT was requested by our colleague’s Bolton MRT to assist with incident control where a 58-year-old female had fallen into water where access was described as extremely difficult. The area location was remote, however, Paramedics and Bolton MRT Team members managed to get on scene to make initial assessments, where they found the casualty out of the water. With patient care and safety the priority, the female casualty was treated for mild Hypothermia, placed into a mountain rescue stretcher, and with security of a simple rope system the female casualty was evacuated to safety and then transported to the local hospital.
