Incident 069/2021

The rescue Team were called at 13.45hrs on Sunday 12th December 2021 for a  69 year-old Male walker who had taken a tumble in the Warton crag area, he had fallen forward injuring his shoulder. His pain score was described as being 10 out of 10 and he was unable to move.

Once team members were on scene, we gave immediate casualty care and first aid and then evacuated him on the mountain rescue Bell stretcher approximately 600 meters down hill to an awaiting ambulance, where he was then transferred over to Paramedics.
