Incident 059/2022

At 14.15 hrs on Monday 19th December 2022, the rescue Team were requested to assist with an injured casualty in the White Coppice area, near Chorley. With information received as an unconscious male who had potentially been drinking, the rescue Team arrived on scene to help Paramedics.

With Team members and paramedics assessing the situation, the casualty was breathing and conscious, intoxicated but no apparent injuries we decided he could be walked to safety where he could be repatriated with his mum.

Overall, 2 NWAS Ambulance paramedics and 15 Bowland Pennine mountain rescue volunteers were on scene.
