A request from the North West Ambulance Service at 18.40 hrs on Sunday 4th September 2022 for the rescue team to assist with a walker who had fallen and had injured themselves in the Yarrow Valley Country Park.
The 42-year-old female had sustained an injury to her lower leg, so the rescue team provided casualty care and then evacuated her in one of our team vehicles to an awaiting ambulance.
It should be noted, this callout came in while incident 37, a search for a vulnerable male was still going on. We simply deployed resources to cover both incidents.
