Wednesday 28th May 2025 at 18.35hrs we were called and requested by the North West Ambulance Service to attend to a 45 year old female who had slipped into ditch at Yarrow Valley Country Park.
While the team were en route, with 2 team vehicles mobile, we were stood down when we were informed by the Ambulance Service that the female was helped out of the ditch by friends and passers-by so mountain rescue and an Ambulance was not required.
17 volunteers of Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue were responding to this incident.
