Wednesday 20th May we were requested to investigate and potentially search areas of Lancaster, in particular Williamson Park for a young male called Henry Shields who had been missing for some time.
Whilst our rescue team were about to deploy, we received the very sad news that Henry had been located, sadly deceased in Williamson Park.
This is obviously not the outcome anybody wanted and our condolences go out to Henry’s family and friends during this sad time.
Later in the day, we received a request from Lancashire Police to recovery Henry from an area in Williamson Park, see incident 020/2026.
