Bowland Pennine MRT Team members, along with other Mid-Pennine Search and Rescue Organisation teams Holme Valley MRT, Calder Valley SRT and Rossendale & Pendle MRT attend a swift water flood rescue (MOD 3) course, our 2 team members had been working towards this qualification for the past 6 months so it is a huge congratulations to them and everyone else on the course.
This qualification helps our rescue Team serve the community, whether we are searching river banks for lost or missing persons or assisting other agencies in time of need, especially times of flood when homes face destruction or damage.
